Setup and takedown

Poster set up and takedown times for the 2011 Alaska Marine Science Symposium are based on the agenda, which will determine who presents when. Once the agenda is set, poster presenters will receive detailed information; this usually happens in December, before Christmas.

In general, presenters have a window of several hours in which to set up their posters. Presenters should be available to stand by their poster and answer questions during their assigned poster session. Poster sessions are held concurrent with evening receptions.

If you wish to keep your poster, be sure to take it down before your assigned deadline. If you do not remove your poster by this time, your poster will be removed for you and stored in another area; you may or may not be able to retrieve it later.
